It's time to come back from Singapore when...
- I accidentally call an old man in the street 'uncle'
- I hand over money in shops with two hands (yes, I do this in Singapore)
- Trains 20 minutes apart elicit frustration and rage - I want to write an angry letter to a newspaper
- 'Can' constitutes a whole sentence
- I think it's strange to be sitting alone in an office at 7pm
- I double check the bill at restaurants
- I've forgotten how to use a knife
(I am in Sydney at the moment, btw)

That's one thing I do like about London. The Tube!
We live on a pretty good line and usually don't have to wait more than 3 minutes for a train. Andrew and I always exclaim "5 minutes!" in mock frustration if the waiting time is longer.
I always giggle when I see people run for trains. Or when they squeeze on to packed trains. I just wait for the next one (which is usually less crowded too.)
The tube is definitely going to be one thing I miss when we eventually return home.
