It's been a tough month since I last posted.
We've had our final three sign offs for this phase of work and I've been averaging 4 - 5 hours sleep each night during the week. Worse than that, I really struggled with my stress levels, lying awake at night and thinking about the issues still to resolve, the unfinished status report and the meeting I wasn't prepared for.
I am still not sure if this level of stress from my job is because of the increased responsibility of my new role or the ineffective response I get from my managers when I escalate issues to them. Of course, I usually take the under-confident position that it's my inabilities causing me to not cope.
I am very lucky to have had 3 wonderful people working in my team and a very supportive vendor representative (a rarity in the project). We had our final sign off on Friday, only 2 days late (yes, there was an issue raised, and yes, the cause was not my team). My roll-off date has been confirmed, the plans for leaving Singapore are coming together and I even have a little sadness creeping up on me.
